Coach Tom Petekavich's approach to creating the fittest athletes starts with making fitness accessible to everyone. He believes no matter your limitations, restrictions, or obstacles, that he can partner with you, alongside his community, to love you through everything and make you a better athlete even with your restrictions or limitations. Tom has been in the fitness industry for well over a decade. He holds a BA in Exercise Science with a minor in Fitness Management and Coaching Authorization. After he earned his degree he interned at Sanford Wellness in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and worked alongside the Power Program. Working with anyone from the elderly to young athletes just learning to weightlift. He has since pursued his lifelong passion to be a fitness coach and trainer while pursuing many different certifications including: National Academy of Sports and Medicine - Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist, USA Weightlifting, Russian Kettlebell Certification/Challenge, Functional Movement Specialist, Certified Kettlebell-Functional Movement Specialist, CrossFit Level 1, Precision Nutrition, and CrossFit Gymnastics. These certifications allow Tom to additionally work with barbells, kettlebells, and any weighted implement and coach it with perfection.
